Rob Leachman is an author and educator currently focused on fitness and wellness, track and field, and adventure travel. A former teacher and coach, he retired as a school superintendent before completing a second career as a university administrator and instructor. Sharing a focus on maintaining physical fitness as they got older, he and his wife Bev have completed numerous trips that have both expanded their horizons and pushed their physical limits. These adventures have included a trek across the Grand Canyon and a 3,000-mile cross country bicycle tour from California to Florida. He recently published a book about the lessons learned during that cross country bicycle trip and is working on a biography of the athlete he considers the greatest Olympian of all time. Rob and Bev currently live in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
